Taj Mahal is fantastic. The food is always delicious, portions are generous, and everything is consistently well made. I highly recommend the lamb vindaloo—it is one of my favorites—and the garlic naan is excellent. What really stands out is how helpful and kind they are. Even when I have called close to closing time, they have gone out of their way to take care of my order. Great food, great service, and always a good experience.

My friend ordered takeout for me and I was excited to try the chicken biryani, however, I was disappointed. The rice didn’t seem fully cooked and was difficult to chew and the chicken breast was a bit tough. The raita was also watered down. I’m very hesitant to ever get biryani from this spot again.

We normally order take out, but today we decided to walk there since we don’t leave far from the restaurant. We started with chicken samosas, and they were delicious, super crispy and juicy. I had the chicken butter , and my husband had the goat Rogan Josh , we had garlic naan raita. Everything was absolutely amazing, and the price is even better. We 100% recommend this Indian Restaurant. Really good. We only remembered to take a photo after we finished everything… eheheh. Yummy 🤤

The North Miami location of Taj Mahal Indian Cuisine serves authentic Indian flavors that will make you feel like you are having a warm family meal. The restaurant is very cozy, inviting you to feel relaxed. The menu has a variety of flavorful options depending on your dietary preferences and you can customize the heat/spicy level per plate. We ordered the shrimp biryani, mango curry chicken, chicken samosa, onion pakora, onion kulcha naan, and the kashmiri naan. Every plate was presented in a beautiful way, with large portions and generous sauce portions for everyone to share and enjoy. The staff are professional, kind, courteous and knowledgeable about their menu to provide recommendations.

I tried the food at Taj Mahal and had a wonderful experience overall. The seating and atmosphere are very simple and modest, nothing fancy or over-the-top, but that honestly didn’t matter once the food arrived. The portions are extremely generous, easily enough to share, and the quality of the food is excellent. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and authentic, with rich flavors that really stand out. You can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking❤️❤️ The service was also friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. If you’re visiting Miami and want delicious food at a great value, Taj Mahal is definitely worth a visit. Don’t judge it by the seating or décor—the food and portion sizes more than make up for it. You will absolutely love the food and leave very satisfied💕
